Privacy notice
What this website collects, why, and what you can ask me to do about it.
Who is responsible
The data controller for this website is Arcade Union Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 17502541, correspondence address 61 Bridge Street, Kington, England, HR5 3DJ. It trades as Arcade Union Studio. Questions about your data can be sent to enquiries@arcadeunion.com.
What this website does and doesn’t collect
This is a static website. It sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking scripts. It loads no third-party scripts, fonts or embeds.
The server that hosts it keeps standard access logs (IP address, requested page, browser type and time of request) for security and to keep the service running.
If you send an enquiry
If you use the contact form, I receive the information you type into it: your name, email address, company or project, website address, what you need, an optional budget range and your message.
- Why: to reply to your enquiry and, if you wish, to discuss work with you.
- Legal basis: my legitimate interest in responding to enquiries made to me, and taking steps you ask for before entering into a contract.
- Who handles it: the form is handled by this website’s own server, which emails it to my business mailbox. It isn’t passed to any other service. A copy is kept on the server so an enquiry can’t be lost if email fails.
- How long: I keep enquiries only for as long as is needed to deal with them and for reasonable business records afterwards.
I don’t sell your information and I don’t add you to a mailing list because you enquired.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the information I hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how it is used. Email enquiries@arcadeunion.com. If you’re unhappy with how it’s handled you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If anything here changes, for example if analytics are added, this page will be updated first.

Tell me what you’re building.
A short message is enough to start. I’ll reply with an honest view of whether and how I can help.
